  1. Okay as someone who has had Norwegian Elkhounds her whole life, do not tell people that their coat is low maintenance. We used to joke that our girl Molly would take one day off on the winter and summer solstices from shedding. So much shedding

    • their coats are low maintenance; yes, a top ten shedder; but they rarely need bathing or any other grooming. Get a good vacuum, run it daily, clean it out daily. But lint brushes by the 6 pack.
