PetSmart is recalling dog food bowls due to the sharp edge

PetSmart is recalling its Top Paw double diner dog bowls. This is because the gasket on the bottom of the bowl can come off, which would leave a sharp edge that could hurt any dogs who use it.

According to the U.S . Consumer Product Safety Commission, “the firm has received 13 reports of the rubber gasket detaching from the bowl.” No injuries have been reported.

The bowls were sold nationwide and online at PetSmart.com and other websites between May and July this year for about $3.

They come in three colors – green apple, island spice and spring meadow. The small bowl’s UPC code is 2091633259, the medium bowl’s UPC code is 2091633262 and the large bowl’s UPC code is 2091633261.

More than 100,000 units have been recalled. This is a lot. This is an expensive recall.

That means the company had to do a lot of work before they could decide on this, which makes it even more bizarre that they actually did decide on this.

The bowls are made in Thailand and China, according to the product label.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bowls and contact PetSmart for instructions

Consumers should take the recalled bowls away from dogs and return them to PetSmart for a full refund.
