#4 A Rat Terrier has lots of energy; you should be able to spend at least 40 minutes a day exercising your dog. If you do not, the Rat Terrier can become destructive as a way to release pent up energy.
#5 With training, socialization, and a certain forgiveness of their “bad” habits, the intelligent Rat Terrier can be an invaluable member of your family.
#6 As you’d expect, Rat Terriers exhibit all the behaviors — and stubbornness — of a typical terrier.
