In my experience with 6 to 8 Scottish Terriers over the years – this is not necessarily true. All of mine have done fine with children and other pets to the point of protecting them.

My Scottie went to work with me every day at a nursery school, he is amazing with children.❤️

See comment in #9. Mine have always done fine with other pets. Mine 9 year old Scottie became an adoptive mom to new Scottie and Westie pups to the point of chewing a hole in the gate to the kitchen to let them out and take them to bed with us!
