Hedgehogs are so cute that everybody wants to get one. But there are several facts you should know about these sweet pets.😉
#1 They are very active so if you got one, you should buy a big cage!
#2 The most popular species as a pet is the African pygmy Hedgehog.
#3 The average lifespan of Hedgehogs is 4-6 years.
#4 Hedgehogs are considered wild animals and not allowed to be owned as a pet in some parts of the USA.
So if you live in Arizona, California, Georgia, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, NYC or Washington, D.C. you can`t get a Hedgehog as a pet.
#5 Hedgehogs have really poor eyesight.
#6 Hedgehog is considered as a clean animal having very little smell.
