#7 In the heat, do not transport the dog in the car unless absolutely necessary.
#8 Important !!! Never leave the dog in a parked car: even in the shade and with the windows open, the temperature in the car rises too quickly, which can lead to heat shock after a few minutes.
#9 All “unpleasant” manipulations (for example, cutting nails or cleaning ears) should be postponed to cooler weather or to a cooler time of day. Many dogs do not like these procedures, and stress and physical resistance can also contribute to the overheating of the body.
#10 A short haircut does not at all help the dog easier to tolerate hot weather, and even, on the contrary, it can lead to faster overheating, since the coat protects not only from the cold but also from high temperatures.
#11 Do not leave the dog’s food in a bowl all day: in the heat, food spoils faster, and this can lead to poisoning of the pet. This is especially true for wet rations.
#12 Do not force to eat. If a dog refuses food in the morning and evening, do not force-feed him and do not offer only goodies.
