The Appenzeller Sennenhund breed is among the ten most popular dogs in the world. Its peculiarity is that it was obtained not by crossing existing breeds, but as a result of natural selection. Sennenhund is recommended for living in the countryside and for living in urban apartments. Such a pet will become the best friend of the whole family and a reliable guard if necessary.
#1 The Appenzeller Sennenhund is an ancient breed of dog whose birthplace is the Swiss Alps.
#2 Researchers Anne Rogers Clark and Andrew H. Brace believe that these large, kind dogs came from Roman Shepherds.
