Just in 2020, FDA has recalled many dog food big brands and now at the end of the year, FDA recalled some pet food brands because at least 36 dogs became victims, 28 of them died and 8 sickened according to Newsbreak

The reason behind the recall and the cause of these deaths and sickness is because of the high level of aflatoxin.

High levels of aflatoxin can cause vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, liver damage (though some dogs can suffer without showing any symptoms), and death.

If you bought any recalled pet foods, make sure to keep them away from your pet and child, or throw those away. And If you have fed them with those, you should contact the vet immediately for further examination, because some of the dogs might not show any symptoms.
And make sure to change your pet food products, since there are still many pet foods out there that can cause no harm to your beloved pets, or you can make your own food to feed your pets since it’s more healthy and safe.
