Details about the Scam:
On the site they post the puppies that you can inquire about. They send an email once you try to see more details about a puppy.
In my case, it was a puppy named Oakley. They send pics and videos and asked for the payment and told me that I can have her sent to my address.
The total on the site was $850 and the email said it would be a total of $950 which includes shipping.
Soon after, I get a message saying she was dropped off at courier and not long after that “EMS shipping” was asking for $950 for a crate that’s temperature regulated, then after that they asked for more money for vaccines, then they asked for a insurance, and lastly for a pet city permit which I refused to pay because I couldn’t find anything in my area stating that was needed.
They said the crate rental and insurance would be refundable upon delivery of puppy, which never happened.
I have a signed contract from the seller. So I’m going to see what legal actions I can take.
